We recently completed a kitchen remodel for an older house, transforming the space into a modern, functional, and inviting area while retaining its original charm. The kitchen was outdated, with worn cabinets, dark countertops, and inefficient storage. We began by opening up the space, knocking down a few non-load-bearing walls to create a more open flow between the kitchen and dining area.

We replaced the old cabinets with custom-made, light-colored shaker-style cabinets, offering both a timeless aesthetic and ample storage. The new countertops were made of sleek quartz, providing durability and an elegant appearance. A combination of quartz backsplash and gorgeous tile backsplash behind the sink and range with a subtle grout adding a touch of modernity while complementing the overall design.

The outdated appliances were replaced with energy-efficient, stainless steel models, and concealed cabinet front appliances offering both style and improved functionality.

To enhance the lighting, we installed recessed lighting in the ceiling, along with under-cabinet lighting to brighten up the workspace. We also added a large farmhouse sink that blends seamlessly with the rustic charm of the home.

A warm, earthy color palette with soft neutrals and natural wood accents gave the kitchen a cozy yet modern feel, making it both a functional cooking space and a welcoming gathering spot for the family.
